Email
What is SMTP?
The protocol that sends email between servers — and the settings your apps need to send mail.
SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the standard for sending email: when you hit send, your mail client hands the message to an SMTP server which relays it to the recipient's server. When an app or website needs to send mail — order confirmations, password resets — you give it your SMTP server, port and credentials. Outgoing SMTP should always be paired with SPF and DKIM records, otherwise your legitimate mail lands in spam.
