What is Let's Encrypt?
The free, automated certificate authority whose SSL certificates we install on every hosting plan.
Let's Encrypt is a non-profit certificate authority that issues SSL certificates at no charge, with automated issuance and renewal. On our cPanel hosting, enabling it is one click: the certificate installs for your domain and auto-renews every 90 days, so you never pay an 'SSL add-on' fee or see expiry warnings. There is no security downside compared with paid certificates for standard domain-validated use — the encryption is identical.
